• Able to supply either:
o 10 Open or 2nd Division Saddle Bronc Horses
o 10 Open or 2nd Division Bareback Horses
o 10 Open or 2nd Division Bulls or
o Stock for all Timed Events
NB: Numbers for approval may vary at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
• Must attend an APRA Animal Welfare Clinic when available.
• Once approved, supply stock for a minimum of 5 APRA Rodeos in one APRA Rodeo season.
• Must have acceptable demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Regulations and Animal Welfare laws for applicable Australian State.
• Must have a Public Risk Insurance Policy for providing Rodeo Livestock or run under a Rodeo Producer that does and is willing to accept responsibility for the Sub-Contractor’s stock.
Before you apply:
• New applicants must perform their stock at 3 APRA Rodeos in one APRA Rodeo Season under the supervision and to the satisfaction of an APRA approved Rodeo Producer, the Stock Contractors’ Representative and relevant Event Director.
• Video of livestock and the 3 APRA Rodeos submitted with the application form.
• Must be an Open financial APRA member.
Approval Process:
• Application form and videos to be submitted to the APRA office.
• Suitability of stock and number of stock will be approved at the discretion of the Competition Board of Directors.
Review:
• The Board of Directors retains the right to remove Stock Contractors from the panel, review the status of stock and implement warnings at their discretion at any time during a Board Meeting.
• Stock numbers and category to be provided to APRA office annually.
• Status to be reviewed by the Board of Directors annually.
• Stock Contractors Insurance Certificate of Currency if held, supplied annually.
