NOTES: 1. Friday is ‘Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day’ so please wear pink to show
your support for Breast Cancer Research.
2. 2nd division events will be one round and a final. WSRS reserve the right to
run 2 rounds if not enough entries. Finals will be run Sunday morning.
3. Winners of 2nd Div SB BR & BB receive buckles.
4. APRA Head office will be doing the payouts. Please call with your current
bank account details PRIOR to the rodeo.
5. In house events: Poly Saddle Buckjump (men’s & women’s), Mule
Ride, Ladies Steer Ride have to be prepaid and nomination form can be
downloaded from the website www.warwickshowandrodeo.com.au and sent
to:- The Treasurer, Warwick Show & Rodeo Society, PO Box 190, Warwick
Qld 4370.
6. Brian Aspinall Memorial Australian Championship Men’s Saddle
Buckjump. Prizemoney $1,000 to be paid out to 4 places if 4 scores.
Winner receives an engraved Trophy buckle. EF $100.
(Entries to Warwick Committee, details in note #5). To be held Friday
afternoon.
7. Australian Championship Ladies Saddle Buckjump, Prizemoney $500 to be
paid out to 4 places if 4 scores. Winner receives an engraved Trophy buckle.
EF $50. (Entries to Warwick Committee, details in note #5).
To be held Friday afternoon.
8. Each rider must have their own saddle. Saddles cannot be shared between
riders and the saddle must be a flap stock saddle. Fender saddles are not
acceptable.
9. Ladies Steer Ride - $500 prizemoney to be paid out to 4 places if 4 scores.
Entry fee $50. (Entries to Warwick Committee, details in note #5) Max 12.
10. Mule Ride – open to men and women. Prizemoney $500 for the winner.
EF $50. (Entries to Warwick Committee, details in note #5).
Held Saturday & Sunday.
11. Camping fee $25 per camp prior to 26th October or after 30th.
Camping payable at the gate when entering the showgrounds.
12. A Horse Health Declaration will need to be filled in and signed just prior
to entering the Warwick Showgrounds.

This will definitely need to be filled in by rodeo competitors that bring

Penalties and Fines

22.1 Turnout fine of $50 if in performance or slack and you do not notify Central Entry Office or Rodeo Secretary.

22.2 Turnout fine of $10 if in performance and you do notify the Central Entry Office by 5pm the Thursday prior to the Rodeo.

22.3 Turnout in slack and notify the Central Entry Office before 5pm on the Thursday before the Rodeo. No fine.

22.4 All turnouts required to pay entry fees. all fees and fines to be paid prior to competitor being permitted to enter further rodeos.

22.5 Unfinancial Members or Members on the Suspended Members List cannot compete as a Day Members.

22.6 A competitor must have a medical certificate to cancel out of a Rodeo after the closing date for entries. A competitor who cancels on a medical certificate, cannot compete for ten (10) days from the date of the Rodeo from which he cancelled and must supply a medical release.

22.7 Competitors are only allowed 3 medicals and 3 visual turn outs in each Rodeo year.

22.8 When a competitor visually turns out or Medicals out of a Rodeo he only receives his added money back. Committee levy is retained by the committee and administration levy must be paid to head office.
