Queensland has eight of the event leaders in the Australian Professional Rodeo Association standings after the first four months of the season.
Emerald star Shane Kenny is a runaway leader in the all around and rope and tie standings.
He maintained the rope and tie lead with first overall at Mt Isa, the richest rodeo in the APRA.
Queenland riders are dominating the roughstock standings with Mt Isa winners Michael Maher (Warwick) and Roy Dunn (Proserpine) on top in the saddle bronc and bull ride.
Roma Rider Jamie Howlett was second behind Deon Lane (Mt Isa) at the Mt Isa Rodeo but maintains his lead in the bareback bronc ride.
It is Queensland riders on top in team roping with 12 of the top 15 in header standings from the Sunshine State and 13 of the top 15 in heeler standings.
Calvert cowboy Jesse Townsend leads Clancy Middleton by $7 in prize money at the top of the team roping header leader board from Shane Kenny and early season leader Jordan Austin-Iker, of Alton Downs, in Central Queensland.
Queenslanders are in the top four positions in team roping heeler standings in the APRA. Emerald rider Grant Hanrahan is on top from Gracemere star and early season leader Brenton Bell.
Emerald rider Brody Moss is third and Liam Davison, of Charters Towers, fourth.
Warra cowgirl Jane Fay won by almost two seconds in breakaway roping at Mt Isa and is a clear leader in the standings from Tamara Knox, of Ebenezer and Jorja Iker, of Alton Downs.
Three New South Wales riders head standings lists, Moree star Wendy Caban is all around cowgirls and barrel race leader after a win at Mt Isa while Junee cowboys is on top in steer wrestling.
With the top 15 in prize money in the season to April 30, 2015 qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo, all the current leaders are assured of a finals appearance.
Prize money alone determines positions in the standings which is expected to ensure bumper nominations for the Warwick Rodeo on October 23-26, the second richest in prize money in the APRA.
